Newsletter June 2013
Thanks so much for reading our monthly e-newsletter. We appreciate having you as a customer! May was a busy month for us. It's one of the months during the year when we prepare Taupe fabric assortments, and with the growing popularity of Asian Taupe, the volume of fabrics we cut, fold and package has grown a lot as well. It takes our small crew the better part of the month to get it all done, but we have sent out these beautiful new Summer 2013 Taupe Color packs to all of our Club members, and the remainder of the packs have been posted to the webstore. Here are photos of our new collections. If you see a group you really like, just click on the photo for more information. As always, we have a mixture of lights to darks, and both print fabrics and yarn dyed wovens in each pack, giving you truly useable collections with different design scales and textures.
************************ Individual Fabrics (yardage) Available All the fabrics included in our seasonal color packs are being scanned and added to the webstore daily, and some have very limited yardage. If you find a fabric in these collection that you would like additional yardage of, please continue to check both the Taupe Prints, and Yarn Dyed Fabrics shopping categories on the website over the next few days. The newest fabrics will be displayed at the top of their category. In addition to the color pack fabrics, we have many new Taupes being added now that are not appearing in any of the collections, so you may find some "must haves" in these shopping categories even if you are a member of Taupe Club. For your convenience, you may also shop by manufacturer, if you have a favorite, or are looking for a specific fabric. Just scroll to the bottom of the left bar menu and click on "Shop By Manufacturer" category. ************************
We have been waiting a long long time to offer you these exquisite new fabrics from Taiwan. For those of you who love the yarn dyes, you will be excited about these fabrics. They are premium quality, 100% cotton in beautiful Taupe shades. They are substantial weight, similar to a very nice quality Daiwabo or Lecien yarn dyed fabric, but at a lower price point, making them far more attractive to incorporate into many of your projects. We already have several pre-cut collections of these fabrics up on the website. We have created a new shopping category, Haori Textiles Yarn Dyes, which will include all the new fabrics from this manufacturer. We will have yardage added to this category later this coming week, and by the end of this month, we will have a brand new, all yarn dyed fat quarter assortment including a mix of Haori, Daiwabo and Westex fabrics. Watch for these! ************************ Mud Cloth I must apologize. We received a large shipment of new Mud Cloth pieces from Mali, but we have not been able to get them all individually photographed in time for this newsletter. We have a nice assortment, and they should be posted to the webstore very soon. Here are just a few to wet your appetite. Lots of large scale traditional designs, some black on white, rust, mustard, and other earthy tones. Pieces are all approximately 48" x 72" and sell for $39.95. Check in about a week or so, to see all the new designs.
************************ Vending Our next local show is the Sandy Historical Society's annual quilt show in Sandy, Oregon. This year's show will be held June 27-29. Hope to see our local Oregon customers there. ************************ One World Fabrics Blog For the most up to date information, always check our blog whenever you visit the webstore.
